More North Carolina Pictures...

Ok, so I mentioned I was behind on posting, so now is time to catch up. Here are more pictures from NC.

Landon pulling Noah around in the wagon at the BBQ party :) Noah loves wagons.
He also played outside from sun up till sun down. No LIE.
Poor thing is deprived from being outside, since the apt. do not really offer a lot of playing room.
This picture was taken Sunday morning before church.
Brandon was studying to preach at Michael's church and Noah was playing the D.S.
Hannah and Noah (buddies)
Adrian and Noah being boys and getting dirty.
Abigail and Noah playing with sticks!
Our little daredevil... not scared of a thing. I do not know who took this picture, maybe aunt aunt... but I am glad I wasn't outside I would have freaked out! That slide is really big!
Noah using assistance from Papa! Although, the above picture shows he was sooo not scared!
Noah and I at the graduation party playing air hockey.
Noah Paul
Again in the wagon..
Noah and Daddy getting ready to eat BBQ!
Mommy and Noah relaxing after a big weekend!
These were our daily night routines while in NC. He was filthy after playing soo hard outside every waking minute.

Noah's 2nd Birthday - May 25, 2009

I know this post is long overdue, but honestly, I blame it on my computer! It would always freeze up and run very slowly and that frustrated me. I would get to a post and it would take all night to get the pictures up! But, thanks to my lovely husband, Brandon, we got a new MAC, and yes, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It is much faster and more high-tech, which I like.

This year we went down to North Carolina for Brandon's brother's graduation from seminary! It took us about 9 hours to get there (due to a 2 hour clean up from a wreck) and 7 hours to get back! We really enjoyed seeing family! Brandon's mom and dad and aunt also came in for the grad. Noah and his cousin Adrian share birthdays very close together. Adrian was born on May 14, 2007 and Noah was born on May 25, 2007, Pettra and I decided since we would be in on the weekend of Noah's birthday, that this year happened to fall on Memorial Day, we would celebrate a double 2 year old party! It was really great we went to a place called Jumping Beans! It is all that you can imagine, we reserved a room with a big inflatable!

Birthday boys at Jumping Beans in North Carolina!

Everyone get ready for picture OVERLOAD: lots of fun stuff to show the family and keep as a journal of memories :)

Noah and I peeking in at HIS birthday party!

This nice banner was made by the Jumping Beans Employees.
They treat us like royalty...isn't it nice when someone is kind ?!

Aunt was at Noah and Adrian's  Party taking lots of pictures!

And....Nana and Papa were there too.. We could not get Papa to get in the jump house, but Nana stuck here head in to get pictures and video :)

Uncle Michael and Aunt Pettra

Landon -10 years old

Abigail- 5 years old

Hannah Beth- 4 years old

This was daddy in the jump house and this was the "calmest" thing he did all night! He is such a big KID!

This is what I did most of the time in the Jump House: I did slide two times :)

Mommy and Daddy

The cupcake cake turned out to be a hit! Not to many messes :)

Singing Happy Birthday to the boys:

This is serious: I promise my child is not a dog, and does not eat like this at home. What made him think he needed to eat his cupcake this way, i do not have a clue ?!

The end results of the cupcakes:

We ended that party by opening birthday presents:

*Thanks to all who family who attended and helped with the party. It was such a success. We love you guys!

*Shout out to Lolli, Pop, Mema, Papa, Andrea, and Chris. Sorry you guys could not be here :( Thanks for the presents and know that we will always love you!

Easter Weekend

The Spain household had an AMAZING Easter weekend! We had lots of things going on this past week and weekend. Brandon's parents got in last Sunday night and stayed until Thursday morning. During that week, Brandon worked until noon each day, I had school, and choir practice every night. So we were busy busy. Friday morning our dear friends invited us over to dye easter eggs with their kids! This was my first time and Noah's first time to ever dye eggs! It was great fun! The kids hunted for easter eggs and also decorated cookies. Not to mention, Noah also fell down Brian and Kelly's basement stairs, before I could even get to him. He went head first! Luckily, Kelly caught him at the bottom. I was shaken up because I could not get to him quick enough and he did not cry a bit! Tough kiddo! Thanks Kel for catching my son! Then on Friday and Saturday night we had our Easter Musical..which was a great success! Sunday we had a great day! We went to church and had around 585 which is a good attendance for our church! Since we do not have family living here, one of the precious couples in our church invited us over for lunch! It was very good. We then played outside with bubbles and came home to get N down for nap! I had to be back at church at 5 for a sound check and then we performed the musical one last time!! It just was a great day in the Lord's house! He is Risen! Hallelujah! Here are some of the pictures from our fun filled weekend!

Noah after church: His cute little chick shirt says:
Yo Chicks Dig Me on the top and the bottom says: Momma's
Little Chick Magnet.

Noah styling at church in his Easter Outfit.

Happy Easter 2009!

Daddy thought it would be cute to put his hat on backwards.
This picture shows Noah's entire outfit...babies and all!
His babies are his passy and blanket!

A few Easter suprises for Noah from Mommy and Daddy!

Noah's Eggs that he dyed!

The easter egg cookie that Noah took a bite out of before
he even decorated it! Typical!

Mommy and Noah getting ready to decorate the cookies!

I promise I am getting my hair cut soon! UGH!

-Let me give you insight on what happened when we started
dying the eggs. We put Noah's egg in orange first! So I gave him
the spoon to let him stir the egg to cover it in dye! Well, me con-
centrating on him not spilling the dye everywhere...did not realize he
was getting spoonfuls of liquid and drinking it and going MMMMmmm.
My comments! Thank goodness it was NON-TOXIC!!

Biz's Beat of the Day

Have you ever heard of Yo Gabba Gabba? Noah loves this tv show that comes on Noggin. I have to admit it is weird, but sooo entertaining for him! Every episode has a "Biz's Beat of the Day", this is where they teach vocal precussion! Since, Brandon does some vocal precussion, Noah loves to try to do it. It is sooo precious! When it goes off, he says AGAIN!

Noah's 1st Time to Play In the SNOW!!

Noah and Daddy

Our neighbors came out and let us borrow their cool sled!
Noah absolutely loved it! Everytime we would ask him if he was ready to go inside, he would say NO!

Mommy and Noah (excuse the NO makeup, who wants to wear make-up on a snow day?!)

My favorite pic of the day! My two boys!

Last night, the weather man kept calling for 4-8 inches of snow and we got it!!!
We actually are under a Winter Storm Warning until Wednesday evening. So we are partly prepared, I did not realize we did not have much juice stored up for Noah, so we are really praying he does not drink alot today:) You have to understand my son is always drinking something!! When we woke up this morning we saw a beautiful "Winter Wonderland." I am not really a snow person, I think its beautiful, but I just do not like to be cold! Brandon and I thought we would take Noah to play in it. We bundled and layerd him up that he could barely move! And, excuse the cowboy boots, that is seriously the only shoe we had for him that get wet and snowy. Thanks to Lolli! She bought Noah these boots in Gatlinburg and I know that this was not her intentions for these boots! But, I promise next time we will have "real' snow boots! They served the purpose though! I think we got like 5 inches! Our pictures in the snow are on the pavement mostly, because Noah sunk so far down in the snow! We did not want his toesies to get wet! Hope you enjoyed the pictures!
Here is a video of Noah walking on ice and sledding....disregard the shaky camera, I was trying to keep up!
