Panama City Beach Florida- Youth Trip/ Noah's 1st Trip to the BEACH!

Noah's 1st steps on the beach (July 2009)

Panama City Beach--Here we come!! My favorite place to be is.........the BEACH! I have been going since I was about 6 years old. Every year my parents would take our family to the same place. PCB. We would stay in the same hotel every time. We enjoyed each other, the sun, the sand, the food, the current music, the water park, the pools, grilling out, sitting on the balcony, shopping, meeting new friends, playing games, and making memories that last a lifetime. When we were younger the "memas" (Mema Betty and Mema Cloys) would tag along for the fun, but as we got older, we got to bring a friend- and that sure was fun! My best friend is Haley and she always would go with me! We had a blast...and made lots of crazy memories!! It is funny how things change....we grow up and we all go our different ways!

During our ministry at Rose Hill Baptist Church, Brandon scheduled/planned this youth trip to PCB. Longing to see the beach and longing to take Noah for the first time, I, was very thrilled about this upcoming youth trip. I try to tag along to most of the youth trips, but with a young-in it becomes difficult at times. But, I was not going to miss out on this fun! Fun-fellowship-worship- at the beach---can't get much better than this!

My parents were also in PCB taking their annual trip! They helped me out while we would be in the conferences they would take N to their condo. I get mixed emotions when I look back at these photos and think about the memories.

I get happy and sad all at the same time! Happy- Noah's first beach experience- many youth accepting Christ as their Savior- Christians growing in their walk with Him- family together-fun at the waterpark. Sad- parents last "real" trip together as a married couple. Unfortunately, my parents separated about 6 months ago-I remember thinking in school how lucky I was to have parents that have stuck together through thick and thin, so this situation has taken its toll on me. Sadly, there is nothing I can do to fix this, but, I can continue to pray for them.

Ok, so enough of the sappy stuff! Here are the pictures to show what a wonderful time we had!
